Nicky is the proud owner of this brand new salon situated in the beautiful beach side village of Palm Cove which is the most northern suburb of Cairns. She has been in the hairdressing industry for 18 years and still loves every minute of it. Nicky believes the best thing about being a hairdresser is that you get to be creative everyday & make so many people feel & look great. Nicky has extensive training in advanced colour work. Her favourite thing to do in the salon is specialised blonde colouring & creative styling.
Nicky is passionate about protecting & preserving our natural environment which is one of the reasons she created Karmeleon eco hair.

When she’s not in the salon creating you will find Nicky hanging out with her dog at the beach or helping out with various volunteer groups helping to protect our beautiful Tropical rainforest & Reef.
Richard is a senior stylist with 21 years experience in the hairdressing industry. Richard loves all aspects of hairdressing and has a strong back ground in fashion, editorial and wedding styling. Throughout is career Richard has enjoyed travelling abroad and working on editorial campaigns and fashion shows locally and in New Zealand. “The best part I love about my job is having a good laugh with my clients and making them walk out of the salon feeling amazing and good about themselves.” Richard is excited to be a part of the Karmeleon tribe and helping lead the way to a cleaner more sustainable hairdressing industry.
Jessica is our first Apprentice at Karmeleon Eco Hair, with basic knowledge of the industry from being a salon assistant in Melbourne and participated in hair modelling and hair shows.
Jessica is fresh to the industry and eager to get hands on and creative and learn everything there is to learn to become a professional, committed creative hairdresser.
