At Karmeleon eco hair Palm Cove we choose to use organic certified hairstyling products by Natulique. Even the aerosols are eco friendly, using Bio DME gas derived from renewable biomass waste.

Colour

Of course we use eco friendly hair colours at Karmeleon eco hair. All our hair colours and hair lighteners are ammonia, paraben and lauryl sulfate free. We also have a specialty range for the super sensitive with zero PPD, resorcinol, ammonia, parabens and SLS. Natulique professional hair colours are one of the world’s least toxic hair colour ranges on the market, designed with a focus on natural ingredients for a more gentle hair colour and extra condition, making them better for you, for our hairdressers and of course the environment. As our hair salon is situated in Palm Cove on Cairns Northern Beaches there’s no doubt we love Far North Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef so we choose to use Natulique hair colours for many reasons but most importantly we choose this brand as One- they are eco friendly and safe for our waterways and Two- they preform as good, if not better than other leading professional hair colour ranges ensuring shiny, healthy beautiful hair.

Foils

Foils give us hairdressers endless options to get creative with your hair colour. From multi dimensional blondes, edgy feature pieces to natural looking highlights, at Karmeleon eco hair we love it all! Here’s another fun fact… The Australian Hairdressing industry sends over 1 million kilograms of foil waste to landfill every year and it’s estimated only 1% of Australian hair salons recycle ☹ Because our Karmeleon tribe want to make the world a shinier happier place, we recycle all of the foil used in our Palm Cove salon and endeavor to be as waste free as possible.

Creative colour & colour correction

Creative colour and corrective colour  services are specifically tailored to suit each individual's hair colour goals. Belayage or freehand, micro foils, colour contouring, baby lights, colour melts or root stretches and multi dimensional colouring are all techniques that may be used during a creative or corrective colour service. Due to this service being specifically designed just for you prices may vary significantly. We recommend coming into the salon for a free consultation with your colourist before booking your appointment to ensure we allow sufficient time to achieve results and to give you an accurate quote.
